Just learned about the term “in-yun” while watching Celine Song’s film “Past lives”, such a beautiful sentiment. Also a gorgeous film, I can’t wait to rewatch it.
Thinking about how lovely was being at Curzon Soho last week, I can’t wait go back, I wonder what film we will go to see next?!
Really enjoyed watching the film Hairspray, it was brilliantly funny! What a great Friday night!🍿
Just watched what I think it’s one of my favourite films of all time, In the Mood for Love from Wong Kar Wai. It’s just sublime, it feels so tactile, the reds are so saturated and it has a deep nostalgic feeling, the connection between the two main characters it’s just electrifying. Just like the previous time I watched this film, it sucks you in and you won’t be able to stop watching. Just beautiful.
Loved watching Paris, Texas tonight, the ending it’s just breathtaking!📽️
Just finished watching “In the mood for love” from Wong Kar-Wai, I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen such a beautiful film as this one was. I’m completely blown away, the lighting, music, the characters, the plot, it’s just a beautiful work of art. I can’t wait to watch it again.
Just enjoyed another film from Pedro Almodóvar, ‘Los amantes pasajeros’ (or I’m So Excited! as it’s the English title). I feel like on a way this is the kind of films that put him on the map, it seems to have lots of controversy, as I can see on the reviews but if you want a silly comedy to spend a good Friday afternoon, this one won’t disappoint you.
We’ve just watched Jiro Dreams of Sushi on Mubi, what a great film! Gentle, mouth-watering and just filled with incredible sense of passion for what they do and know best, sushi.
We’ve just come out of Everyman Cinema after having watched ‘Parasite’ and there’s no words to describe how amazing the film was. It was absolutely breathtaking, haven’t seen something so thrilling and provocative in a long time.
